Cead Mile Failte

Finnegans of Dublin first opened its doors in 1995 and since then has been, quite simply, a decent Irish pub in the heart of Valencia. We have since built up a great local clientele, but adding to that is the increasing amount of visitors from home, which brings a fantastic mix of people and culture to the pub. Our day begins with busy lunchtimes on the sunny terrace where we serve great freshly cooked meals, through relaxed afternoon pints and on into the evenings, when the pace picks up on into the hectic night-time hours.

The ‘of Dublin’ in the name is important, as the proprietor, Peter Finnegan, is from Dalkey, Co. Dublin, where his father has for many years run the well known pub ‘Finnegans’ there. Indeed, we have always tried to make our guests feel as if they could well be in Dalkey when they walk in the door. For example, when the pub was being built, all the materials used were brought over from Ireland, from the floorboards to the light fittings.

In more than a decade here Finnegans of Dublin has seen Valencia change and grow. We too have recently expanded, adding a new bar area and extra television screens making your visit here a more comfortable experience.

Live sports are shown throughout the pub on 9 screens, including of cousre Premier and Champions League football, GAA Championship games and all the big rugby matches.
